Bourbon Apple Cider

Ahoy!

Can you believe the long weekend is over already?! I swear I was travelling home on Friday morning just 2 minutes ago…I don’t understand where the time goes. All weekends seem to fly by, but especially holiday ones. They tend to be busier and have more food and alcohol flowing which I also think contributes to the “time flying” business. We spent our Thanksgiving weekend together in Kingston- helping work on the Ranch and enjoying a turkey dinner and some delicious Fall cocktails- Bourbon Apple Ciders.

The recipe can be found here. The only ingredient we altered was the orange, we didn’t have one in the fridge so we substituted with a grapefruit (still a great taste!) but the recipe is flawless. The perfect happy hour cocktail for Fall with apple and cinnamon flavours.

I’m still desperately trying to hold onto that holiday mindset and deny the fact that its Wednesday already, so excuse me for a minute while I shake myself up a Bourbon Apple Cider…
